Al-Nagham Travel & Tourism

Al-Nagham Travel & Tourism is a licensed travel agency in Baghdad (licence no. 381). The office is on the ground floor on Al-Meridian Street in Al-Saadoun, next to the Al-Andalus hotel apartments. The company has been working in travel for about 22 years.

A big part of its work is helping foreigners visit Iraq. For many first-time visitors, the paperwork is the hardest part, so the team helps with invitation letters and guides you through the visa procedure. Al-Nagham is clear that the final decision on a visa belongs to the Iraqi authorities, not the agency. Once you arrive, they can meet you at the airport, sort out accommodation and arrange tours around the country, including religious visits.

For people travelling out of Iraq, the agency books flights and hotels. Popular routes from Baghdad include Istanbul, Dubai, Cairo, Beirut, Amman, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. The team also prepares embassy files and books visa centre appointments. Again, they say plainly that they are not the embassy and can't guarantee approval, which is an honest thing for an agency to put in writing.

Other services include:

• Tourist group trips
• Group health insurance for travellers
• Car rental, with or without a driver
• Travel for business trips, conferences and events

The office is open Saturday to Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm and closed on Fridays. You can call 0773 008 0094 or 0773 006 0094, email info@alnagham.com, or find more details at alnagham.com.
