Ethan's Garage Doors

Ethan's Garage Doors provides residential garage door repair, opener service and new door installation across South Miami-Dade, from Kendall, Pinecrest and Palmetto Bay through Cutler Bay, Homestead and Florida City. We handle broken springs, cables, rollers, off-track doors, panels and weather seals, plus opener repair and installation, keypads, remotes and safety sensors.

Garage door repair often starts with a simple question: what is the door doing right now? If it will not open, will not close, shakes, grinds, drops too fast or sits crooked on the track, a technician can look at the springs, cables, rollers, hinges, tracks and panels and explain what needs attention before any work begins. Torsion and extension springs, lift cables, nylon and steel rollers, bent tracks, damaged panels and worn weather seals are all part of everyday service. When a door has come off its track, the work is handled with care so that the door, the opener and the people nearby stay safe.

Opener service is just as important. A garage door opener that hums but does not lift, reverses for no reason, loses its remote programming or ignores the wall button can usually be diagnosed on the spot. Service covers opener repair and replacement, keypads, remotes, wall controls, limit and force adjustment, and safety sensor alignment so the door stops and reverses the way it should. New openers can be installed to match the door, with quiet belt-drive and dependable chain-drive styles available to suit different garages.

For homeowners who want a fresh look or a more secure door, new garage door installation is available in a range of panel styles, colors and insulation levels. The crew removes the old door, prepares the opening, hangs the new sections, balances the springs, and tests the opener and sensors before wrapping up. Maintenance visits such as lubrication, tightening hardware, balance checks and weather seal replacement help a door run smoother and last longer.
