Omg when I explain those crabby fries SLAPPED!! They were so nice! I received huevos rancheros. Also, buffalo chicken and waffles. I liked the quantity and it was all at reasonable prices. A tremendous brunch place. I highly recommend Opa Opa cafe services.
The Home grows cafe menu has a large variety of choices (from burgers to Asian noodles) with a lot of choices for vegetarians and gluten-sensitive society. The atmosphere is relaxed and the artwork is entertainment, you'll often see an amount of the local college crowd inside. I would highly recommend them.
Home Grown Cafe in Newark is not just the name, but the Menu!! Every plate was so fresh and tasty! Even the bottled Strawberry Lemonade was normally sweet, super exciting, and not sugary at all. This is an incredible place for tasty, fresh food. On my second visit there I'll be sitting on the outdoor patio celebrating a mimosa for brunch.
Staff and management at Home Grow cafe are always thoughtful and attentive. Most menu things have vegan choices. They have nice specials during the week - Thursday's half-priced nachos and margaritas are my special. Definitely one of the nicest restaurants on the central street!
