Her training spans the UK, US, and Singapore, and she has held notable positions such as Past President of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons and Senior Consultant at Singapore General Hospital’s Department of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery. She brings a feminine perspective to her work, understanding the unique concerns of women, having experienced the physical changes of motherhood herself. This insight allows her to connect with female patients on a personal level and offer tailored procedures that address their individual needs.

A graduate of the University of Leicester Medical School, Dr. Sng became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and attained a Master of Medicine in Surgery from the National University of Singapore. She completed advanced training in plastic surgery at Singapore General Hospital and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, receiving further specialization in cleft and craniofacial surgery through a Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) scholarship at the International Craniofacial Institute in Texas. One of the highlights of Dr. Sng’s career was her role in the surgical team that separated Egyptian craniopagus twins, Mohammed and Ahmed, during her fellowship in Texas. After returning to Singapore in 2005, she joined the Register of Specialists and the Academy of Medicine, eventually becoming a Senior Consultant.

Today, Dr. Sng remains a Visiting Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and offers the “Mummy Makeover” at her private practice, a set of procedures designed to help mothers restore their pre-pregnancy bodies, tailored to each patient’s specific goals and needs.
